At PromptRocket, we are committed to maintaining the privacy and protection of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we do and do not collect, how we plan to handle user data in the future, and our general philosophy regarding privacy and transparency.
As of the date listed above, PromptRocket does not collect or store any personal information from users. The Chrome extension operates entirely within your local browser environment. Your usage patterns, prompt templates, and interactions remain confined to your device and are not transmitted to any remote server controlled by PromptRocket.
We have intentionally designed the extension to respect your privacy by avoiding unnecessary network communication and avoiding data collection mechanisms.
We plan to roll out new features that may require users to log in. When such features are introduced, we may begin collecting certain personal information—primarily your email address. This information would be used exclusively for authentication, account management, and optional syncing of user data across multiple devices.
At the time such features are launched, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide clear notices to users outlining the new data practices, including how data is stored, processed, and protected. Participation in these features will be entirely voluntary, and core functionality of the extension will remain accessible without login wherever possible.
PromptRocket does not currently use cookies or similar tracking technologies. We do not track your activity on our website, in the extension, or across third-party services.
As of now, PromptRocket does not integrate with any third-party services or platforms. No data is shared, transmitted, or sold to third parties under any circumstances.
If any third-party integrations are introduced in the future (for example, analytics or payment platforms), we will disclose them in this policy and provide users with full transparency and control over their data.
While we currently do not store any personal data, we take data protection seriously and are committed to implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures if and when we begin collecting data. All future data handling will follow industry best practices, including encryption, secure authentication, and user consent protocols.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When updates occur, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Major changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or through our website to ensure users are informed and can make conscious choices regarding their continued use of the product.
